Has anyone used Returnil Free?

I think I’d heard of this before, but I want a user’s opinion on it. It’s supposed to create a virtual copy of your system or something, so if something goes wrong you just restart and everything’s fine. On their site though it sounds like it has an antivirus integrated. Would it work with Avast!?
