I have 8.0.1489 and I know 8.0.1497 is available to down load. My quesion is this,if I didn’t need any of the fixes as described in 1497,is there really any need for me to downlaod 8.0.1497? Only reason I ask is whenever a newer version of avast is released some people always expereience problems after downloading it. Thanks.
Short answer yes.
It is best to have security based programs fully up to date, whilst some fixes may not effect you there could well be other underlying issues resolved.
