Have installed Avast Free - it detects viruses, but will not let me quarantine or delete them

So, why can I not delete detected items?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

There really is insufficient information to even suggest what to do.

If the alert relates to your browsing then there is nothing on your system to quarantine or delete.
If you getting Avast Alerts select the more details option and post a screenshot.
