have to buy Standard Suite for Peer to peer network?

Hi,

I have a peer to peer network with around 20 Win XP Pro machines with one that connected to internet (dial-up). I only need sharing printers and modem for internet access and have no dedicated server.

I am thinking make one that connedted to internet as AMS/Console machine to get latest update and mirror to clients.

But I’m bit confused whether I should buy avasti Pro edition (non-managed version) and download ADNM to use with them, or l have to buy Standard Suite all together (I dont need Server edition)

Please advise.

No reply…ok, FAQ says to make avast! pro edition as a netclient for ADNM, the user has to obtain license file by sending License File Request Form.

If moderator or administrator of avast.com whoever saw this message, please check the License File Request Form page http://www.avast.com/i_kat_9082.php?lang=ENG

When open it, page cannot complete with follwing error message

===
Warning: main(license_resend.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/i_kat_9082.php on line 37

Warning: main(): Failed opening ‘license_resend.php’ for inclusion (include_path=‘.:/usr/share/pear’) in /var/www/html/i_kat_9082.php on line 37

Thank you

  1. I apologize for the delay, last week I took a couple of days off and there was no Internet (or even gsm) connection where I was.

  2. To use the ADNM, you don’t have to buy the Standard Suite. 20 Pro’s will perfectly do. In fact, anyone can use the ADNM when buying at least 2 Pro licenses.

  3. I’ll have the license request page checked (and fixed) asap, thanks for the heads up.

  4. Generally, for sales-related questions, the forum is not always ideal. It’s much better to contact sales@avast.com and our sales team will be more than happy to provide you with a personalized quote and answer any additional questions you might have.

Thanks
Vlk

More on 3. (the license request form): where did you get this URL? It doesn’t seem to be valid, and it doesn’t seem to be linked from any page, too. The correct URL is http://www.avast.com/i_kat_908.php?lang=ENG (note the missing “2”).

Thanks

Thank you for your comment. Sorry for the late response. I did not noticed that my posting has been answered.
