Hi malware fighters,

A new health check for beta-testing from F-Secure Webblog available here:

What does Health Check do?

* checks whether you have an Anti-Virus, Firewall and Anti-Spyware software installed 
   on your  computer
* checks whether you have known vulnerabilities in your applications
* checks whether you have applications that are no longer supported by the vendor
* helps you fix the vulnerabilities found.

If you have, how good is it ???

Its cute but advertising F-Secure applications is its end goal.
It did not detect my Acronis® Backup and offered its own:

Not detect Avast 5. I contact to F-Secure. F-Secure reply: no one knows when Avast 5 support added.

Yes usual rubbish answer to an unrecognised competitor, we don’t know when it will be supported, pathetic.

All they need to do is check the WSC as that will list what AV is installed and if WSC accepts it and it is running. I’m sure that isn’t too difficult a task, but then that isn’t the purpose of this supposed security/health check :stuck_out_tongue:
