help avast removed almost ALL my exe program that really make my computer screw up
my avast don’t have chest so it removed in folder moved (in data folder in program file)
how to restore it?
please i really need help i can’t do anything without my program
Do you mean ALL exe? Impossible… maybe some ones.
Can you right click the folder moved and scan it?
Are you sure this particular exe is clean? Can you send it to www.virustotal.com and test it?
Better than move, use the Chest (it allows restoring the file to the original place).
What do you mean, “my Avast doesn’t have chest” ?
Avast has a chest (quarantine). This makes me think maybe you do not have a legitimate installation of Avast.
Where did you get yours from?
im using vast free edition.
exe file that got removed around 20 file
avast have chest but ut got error in intalaziton of chest
First make avast work properly again. Try a repair:
start > control panel > software > avast > change/delete > repair
You may need to reboot after the repair.
If this solved the chest error, scan your entire system and let us know the result.

Do you have “avast free edition” or “Avast! Home”? (It might matter.)
And what website did you get it from?
If the repair suggested above does the job, it would indicate you probably have the correct Avast.
Hmmm… do you have any other antivirus installed in this computer? Had in the past?
