I quite forgot about XP, but I think I can always search anything in XP using many methods. About the Start Menu, I think 7 = XP. Only 7 is better looking with transparency effect and SegoeUI font. Besides, you could do the transparency thing in XP using application like Windows Blinds or by fiddling with your registry.
