Hello i have Avast, and i Download the free verison yesterday, i cannot come on to the comp. It has been 15h with only “…” lines… May it be a virus or what is happening ?.. Is the program scanning so long time… Need really someones help…

PS, i don’t know if this is the right, place. So anyone mod or admin if this is not right place then move it :P…

Do you mean at boot time, the computer just show dot lines … ?
If you reset your computer and ‘before’ avast boot time scanning is load you CANCEL the scanning, what do you get?

Do you have any other antivirus installed in this computer?
