help and avast 16 bit versiyon

I have got a problem ; I prepared VRDB but I must use a program but awast give me virus notify so I close Awast :slight_smile: After that I use program but when I close computer my computer break down :slight_smile: I have got alot of project and homework this home work is text format ( virus only kill exe :slight_smile: ) so my homeworks is OK But I cant open my desktop Can I cameback my program and homework with VRDB? , how can I use VRDB? ,How can I find 16 bit avast ( I think , maybe I start my computer with ms-dos so I need avast 16 bit ) , is there different way to came back my computer?

  1. Malware does not only infect .exe file. It can do a lot more damage.
  2. Avast will use the VRDB automaticly to restore things if needed
  3. If you have a NT based Windows (XP/NT/2k/2k3), you can schedule a boot scan
  4. Avast is not a backup application. So if you want your application/data back, you should have made a bacup of them.
