Someone please help, I was running lookout and thought I would give Avast a try it sounded promising. I have safestrap installed on my Razr MAXX to root it so thought i would install the Anti-Theft in Rooted mode. I installed it after making a backup and chose option 1 for non ICS and now my phone won’t boot. I can get to the safestrap screen and I tried a restore but nothing…after safestrap it goes black and I have to reset it.
did you actually install it or did you just generate the UPDATE.ZIP file?
Yes, I had actually installed it. Fortunately I was running safestrap so I was able to back it out after I got it to boot to recovery. I’m unable however to untilize the rooted phone option for Avast.
