What exact provider is causing this?
Disable them one at a time to find out.
hi again
If I boot and pause the web shield provider then start shoutcast streaming everything is ok. With shoutcast streaming and happy I can re-enable the web shield and everything still streams ok.
Its as if the web shield dosent block the stream if its already running.
On a standard boot up - with me not touching anything a stream will have to rebuffer after about a minuite or so.
The stations I am using are at http://www.shoutcast.com/waradio.phtml
Its irrelevant whether i’m using Winamp or realplayer or media player classic.
Thankyou for your help

You can ofcourse add the stream to the exception list
Yes, adding the stream to the URL exception list should work. We have already noticed this problem with shoutcast protocol, it should be fixed in the next update.
Lukor, for your information:
It is not only with a shoutcast stream. I listen online to a Dutch radio station (http://www.radio2.nl) and it has the same problem.
Thanks Eddy. I am little confused, what link should I click on to start the audio stream? Thanks. Lukas.
Hmm, Eddy, could you try to add this MIME type into the list of excluded MIME?
application/vnd.ms.wms-hdr.asfv1
Does it help?
This is the link I use to listen: http://www.omroep.nl/radio2/live64.asx
Added the mime type to the exclusion list and testing it right now. Will let you know the outcome.
Cool… I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one experiencing this.
In my case, I’m using WinAmp 5.07 and selecting the streams from the Internet Radio sub-section in the Media Library. When WebShield is running, the streams are fine for about 5 minutes, then de-stabilize and start re-buffering more and more often.
I’ve turned off WebShield for the time being.
Live streams are working fine here now. Although it seems that connecting to them is a bit slower. But that could be just my mind playing tricks with me.
Thankyou for resolving the problem in a recent upate
