HELP Avast is not working for me!

Please can someone help.
I have Renewed my plan (paid for and have Activation code) but when i go to put the code in it says " The request cannot be processed at the moment, please try again later. (-2147195904)

I have tried again, turned my computer off and tired again, i have tried going though the webpage and noting is working…i have even tried to uninstall the dam thing and it wont even let me do that!! (it says it is “running in the background” so i go into Control Panel and disable it and it wont even let me do that!
im going crazy here, please help!!

Hi Emma, probably a server issue.
I’d suggest to try again later/tomorrow.

What exact avast product ?
What OS/SP ?
What happens if you use the license file ?

Ofcourse you can’t disable avast through control panel that easily.
If you could do that, so could malware.

Besides that, removing through control panel and running avastclear is not removing avast completely.

i have tried again today but still not working.

im not sure what OS/SP mean sorry?

Product Name: Avast Internet Security - 1 PC, 1 Year

When i try download the license file it just keeps loading and loading and nothing happens. i thought that must be because i all ready have Avast on my PC?
