Hi. I am using CursorMania and Smiley Central (http://www.smileycentral.com and http://www.cursormania.com). I downloaded them over a month ago. Everything was going fine until two days ago when suddenly, Avast is telling me that there is a Virus/Worm. From what I can tell, it is called Win32:Trojan-gen. From what I’ve been able to learn online, I have been told that there is a glitch in the Avast software that makes this error appear. I am running Avast Home Edition 4.7 and have Windows XP. VPS is 000738-1 (5-03-2007). My computer is an IBM Compatible, Intel Celeron processor, 734 MHz, 384 MB of RAM. I have Windows Firewall and use DSL to connect to the internet. E-mail client is Mozilla Thunderbird. I have tried to download and install the programs again, but when I do, I get an error saying that there is a worm in F3HTMLMU.DLL called Win32:Trojan-gen. When I get the error, my Smileys and Cursors are disabled, but the rest of the tool bar is in tact and the F3HTMLMU.DLL file is deleted. Please please please HELP ME! This seems very odd to me because it just appeared a day or so ago.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding this matter.
Thanks!
