help me I cant install avast on windows xp

have you removed previous used AV before installing avast?

yes i used eset uninstaller and after then avastclear nothing worked

Hi there.

I got response from Dev team. Their advice is to try it again today.
If it won’t work, they would like to inspect:

  • your installer
  • files from C:\Documents and settings\Penzista\Local settings\Temp_av_iup.
    (there should be one folder beginning with ‘_av_iup’)

If the problem persists, please send us those files. Best way would be using mail (endt_at_avast.com)

Thanks for answers, but I have the problem solved, here is my solution:
In windows safe mode I run esset uninstaller, avastclear, created new windows user profile, after restart I log In with new user profile and the avast installation worked for me.
