Help - Disable Wifi Network Notifications?

Hello All

I cannot figure out how to disable the wifi network notifications, that I think are coming from the firewall component.

My wifi has a habit of dropping and reconnecting several times per day (which is a separate issue lol), which means I end up seeing this persistent message a few times an hour. How can I hide these? The notification settings in Avast seem to have no effect on this particular type.

If you look at the image you have posted it could be telling you what the problem is, there are two modes in the Firewall, Private and Public.

By default I believe it is set to Public, this is the maximum security treating connections as not secure, Private allows your local network connections access.

Try setting the firewall mode to Private.

You are correct, DavidR. Default setting is to Public which you use at a coffee shop or library. Private setting is for Home networks only.
