Hello all. So I had some trojans and spyware on my pc. I used Avast to scan the pc. It came up with a bunch of files that had viruses so I hit the delete all key.
Now, I have nothing on my desktop when I boot up. Even if I boot in safe mode now, there’s no desktop icons.
Please tell me I didn’t delete my whole computer. Can someone please help. My pc just keeps getting worse and worse. All I want to do is edit. thanks!
The safer is always send the files to Chest and not direct remove them. We could further analyze the files and they could be restored… :
But, are just the links on desktop what have gone or the programs themselves?
Are you logged as the same user as before or Windows ‘started’ a new user and kept your ‘old’ settings in folders like USER_COMPUTERNAME folder into Document & Settings folder?
