Could someone help me? Something happen and i don’t know what to do. Windows Security Alert states that they don’t detect Avast antivirus. So i try to open Avast Antivirus and i get 3 messages:
Unknown error
Storage cannot be created for “Splash” task
Unknown error
Configuration is not loaded properly. Error: dbsCreateObject
Unknown error
Program cannot save parameters to the storage!(Error: dbsCreateObject)
Ok Alwil,now it’s time to do something. This error is way too common. I have already given an advice how to nearly completelly fix this. PM me if you need more info.
@magmachilli
Search forums for ODBC,dbsCreateObject or XML and i’m sure you’ll find the solution
You may try to open the \data\avast4.ini file and in the [Common] section, change the item Database=ODBC to Database=XML. This could prevent the Microsoft Jet drivers from accessing the database… does it have any (positive) effect?
