I can not run Farbar… I tried both versions but it not working…

What error do you get when you try to run FRST

“FRST.exe is not a valid Win32 application”

It gives the same error in both 32 and 64bit exe files.

What version of windows do you have ?

Download OTL to your Desktop
Secondary link

[*]Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

CREATERESTOREPOINT

[*]Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
[*]When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
[*]Attach both logs

I have Windows 7 Home Basic.

Attached are the logs that I produced.
OTL is not creating Extras.Txt log although I tried 2 times.

Could you save the OTL log as ASNI please as it is corrupted

Here is the OTL log saved as ANSI.

Could you let me know if this stops the alerts

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL

The alerts had already stopped(I did not apply your last posted recommendations), should I apply what you posted or is the system already cleaned up?

Yes as they are errant files that you do not need

Here are the last logs that you requested.

Any further problems ?

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your help.
Can I use OTL and ADW for scanning and cleaning on regular bases?

Not really as OTL is no longer supported and is used purely as a backup for FRST if it does not work for some reason. AdwCleaner is regularly updated so just download as required

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Remove tools

Download and run Delfix
Select the options as shown

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/delfix.JPG

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

Malwarebytes

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean

Unchecky

Click on the link above to be taken to Unchecky.com
click the very large Download button.
click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.
Then click on Finish
Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.

To learn more about how to protect yourself while on the internet read this little guide Best security practices Keep safe

I probably got this virus from torrent sites, I should avoid it somehow…

Thanks again
