Help! getting eternalblue threat detected

Hello, like back few days ago I started getting threat blocked popups often. I did research from what it could be and find this https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB28 I download MS security update and did everything like in that tutorial (disconnect my internet cable, then restart pc and etc.), but that didn’t helped. So maybe someone know how to solve this problem. Thanks.

Install the patch that MS has released and the problem will be solved.

If you use XP, you have to download and install the patch manually.

I’m using Windows 7 32-bit and I installed this security update: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ScopedViewInline.aspx?updateid=fb31138f-b6a5-499c-9eb6-5b5f9fff6bfd but it didn’t helped :-\

Having the same problem. I’ve installed the patch but still getting multiple eternalblue threat blocked messages every day.

FYI, Having same report in the Japanese forum too.

NEW windows patches released yesterday, you may run a manual check … maybe a fix?

Correct detection. There is infected WanaCry system on local network.

Hi savcin, does this detection appear even if the machine is correctly patched?

installed the July patch, still getting threats blocked notifications.
I’ve scanned the network using avast and it says it’s safe.
Nothing on my computer either, after a full scan.
Is this something I should worry about? or can I just ignore it?

Is there more computers on the network?

My computer uses cable and my wife’s laptop uses wifi.
The laptop is patched with the latest windows update as well.

Do you only see this on one computer?

yes, only this one

I am getting similar warnings as well (Win7, everything is on the newest version (patches, etc.)). The PC is directly connected to the internet with a public IP address.

The warnings look like this:

The details in Notifications are showing like that:

https://s4.postimg.org/ip0qai5bd/av2.jpg

I’ve collected the IP addresses until now:

118.193.19.194
173.255.254.187
142.252.253.70
198.204.225.226
118.193.22.58

Is my PC still in danger? Or should I simply ignore it?

Still having this… The thing is that I don’t even had a wifi router, I plug a internet cable direct to the laptop. :-\

Anybody out there…? I really would appreciate an answer from a kind of “black belt” expert.

In the meantime I’ve updated the list of attacking IP addresses in my original reply. Does it make sense to maintain the list?

For the case of Japanese forums, the user also directly connect his/her machine to the internet and warnings got suppressed by changing network mode to “Public network” from “Home Network” via “network and sharing center”.

@NON:
Thank you for the hint. I have changed now that setting, and we’ll see.
Have a nice day!

Thank you!
I’ve changed the Network setting and will let you guys know if it works.
