I have a problem with my drive. My drive has been infested with win32:rootkin-gen and this virus has turned my data folders to .exe file.
I used avast to scan and then applied repair to the folders, however, they disappeared. The drive still show the used space eventhough there is nothing appear. I check the folder options for hidden folder but that did not work out. There are important data that I want to recover.
Someone help me with this? thanks
