Does Avast still detect threats?
Yes. It can still detect virus right now.
My chrome was also infected. I could not right it now.
I’m using firefox as my web browser.
Also some of the programs when run detected by avast as if there’s is virus.
fixlog.txt attached. Thank you for your help.
Here are the screenshot of viruses when I’m running a program.
also getting “windows explorer stop” which causing my computer to slow. When I click x slow motion stops right away.
update: avast won’t run anymore.
chrome and firefox is not working also.
I could not use the pc now to connect to the outside world
Avast detects threaths which are accessed by InfiniyBopx software. Please unninstall following even if it is possible false positive by Avast:
InfinityBox CM2MTK
InfinityBox CM2SPD
InfinityBox LGS
I believe those applications were only infected by a virus.
Right now I reformat and install new windows 7 os.
But I think the virus still resides on my hard drive this is the third time I’m going to reformat the pc.
Not until I detect and remove the virus it will only comes back. I have hard drive with files I don’t want to delete.
Maybe you could help fix this without formatting all my hard drive.
Have you uninstalled those applications?
I didn’t uninstalled them. I reformat now my computer.
The problem now is that virus will come back maybe less than a month because I think it resides now on my hard drives.
I have reformat this pc a couple of times and in no time the virus will come back again.
Can I detect what kind of virus is this so I could remove it on my hard drives?
In FRST logs I couldn’t find traces of infection and those Avast detections might be false positives. On the other hand, Avast might be just detecting crack for pirated software.
