my os is win7, and i must use the drcom to connect the internet, after i installed the avast 5 free ,i found i can’t any web page, untill i close the web guard.
so , what can i do next ? i don’t want to del the web guard

sorry, i don’t understand clearly. in fact, i receive the software(drcom) from my college, as the software didn’t afford itself apparently in its website,thus i can’t afford the exactly address about the software
i can give u the setup package, but how can i upload it?
I think the op means that he/she can’t browse the web while the web shield is running.
We need much more info to follow: operational system, firewall, old antivirus (before avast), what happens if she disable the firewall or WebShield, etc.
