Help! I Have No Clue About Firewall!!!

Hello Everyone!

I recently purchased Premium. Immediately I started getting these popups about background task host blah, blah, blah. I tried to find out what the heck it meant. Everything says how and where to go in and change the settings. I’ve learned some things can make your computer stop working and some things things are viruses/malware. That is the extent of what I now know.

There is nothing I’ve found that gives examples or anything helpful to me. So I set everything on the three orange bars and clicked auto-decide everything, which I’m sure is stupid. I have no clue what settings I should set or why.

I still keep getting popups tell me stuff. And does auto-decide stop the bad stuff?

Hi CJ, if you’ve no clue about FWs, setting it on auto-decide is the way to go.

Thank you guys for responding! I figured I’d really set it to something harmful. So the auto-decide can determine if something is a threat?
