Help!! Infeted computer.

Hi, thank you for the help.
I run scans with avast and it says i have a virus in the file or process is system32\system.exe
I keep getting the pop ups with two different objects
C:\Windows\Installer.…\80000032.@
Win32: Sirefef- A00[Trj]
and
C:\Windows\Installer.…\80000064
Win32:Trojan-gen

seems you have ZeroAccess rootkit…

follow guide and attach logs http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

then help will arrive tomorrow

Do i do all the steps then attach the logs or do i reply every time i complete a step?

Just follow the guide and attach (Do not copy/paste) logs for AdwCleaner, malwarebytes’, OTL, and aswMBR.exe

You can attach the logs after you have finnished all the analysis. Just remember where you saved the logs.

Malwarebytes log

Hi sjon12,

I notice you have

  • AVG
  • Avast
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection (Norton)

You may want to remove two of these. Running 2 or more antivirus software can cause soo many strange problems with your system. (Slowness and false positive)

You also have a Zero access variant on your system…

A malware remover may take some time to reply , so please be patient

Anthony

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems
