Hi i have a problem
i use w2k and avast pro
the mail scanner detect automaclty every accounts
this is nice
i have 4 mail account
can i avoid avast check one of my 4 accounts???
how ?

You can either ignore you pop3 server (of that account) from transparent scanning (add the line IgnoreAddress=123.123.123.123 to the [MailScanner] section in avast4.ini), or switch off the transparent mail scanning alltogether and setup the other 3 accounts via popWizard (AutoRedirect=0 in avast4.ini)

but for example i have an yahoo mail box and tiscali mail box
what’s the meaninig of 123.123.123.123

The 123 is just an example IP address.

can i add for example
IgnoreAddress=pop3.tiscali.com?

If you run
ping pop3.tiscali.com
with your real server, you may get its IP address…

for instance:
ping mail.tiscali.com
you will see that the IP address is: 195.130.225.26
