Help me to solve the Flash player problem.....

I have updated my flash player to version 12 and there is a red flash player icon in the add or remove programs in the control panel(screen shot attached). Flash worked well in Firefox(trying with Facebook). I rebooted my pc and then the flash icon in add or remove programs in the control panel turned to a white blank symbol(screen shot attached). Opened Firefox and loaded Facebook…but Firefox freezes and as it is not responding I have to forcefully end Firefox process. This happens with every versions of flash player and therefore I’m unable to use Firefox to view a lot of web pages. Please help me… :-[

Download , install and run the FlashPlayer removal tool >> http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller

Then try a fresh install of FlashPlayer.

I have to disable Flash to load the adobe site through the above link, otherwise Firefox freezes…

Here is the direct link to the download of the uninstaller:

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t helped me… :-\

  1. Have you tried another browser to see if that helps ???
  2. Have you checked your settings in FF to make sure nothing is blocking Flash ???
