I clicked on the orange ball icon because there’s an X on in. It says I’m unsecured. I then clicked on “fix now”…nothing happens. It also says my service has stopped. I then clicked on “start now” and nothing happens. It’s been fine, but today it’s not. Can weather have anything to do with this??? I’m really freaking out about this because I just bought it a week ago and am already having problems.
Can anyone help?

Have you received your license from avast and have you applied it to the program?
Also, you might try a repair of avast …
To do a repair of avast :
Control panel > Add/remove programs > click once on avast to select it > click on Change/Remove > scroll down the left pane and click on repair > click OK> follow directions
Thank you. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. It was not fun…it took awhile for it to read my key! It’s working now, but I’m keeping this handy.
I also sent 2 tickets to Avast!, but never received a reply…very frustrating!
