I woke up to this little prize on my computer yesterday. (Ill be sure to thank the kids. O.O ) It is displaying ads on every page over top of the regular page that scroll when you do, and creating links on random words to various sites with low reputation. If you pan over the links, it displays B.S. stuff with “tlbsearch.com” on it. I’m using Windows Vista w/ Chrome. I’ve disabled all extensions, no hits scanning with Avast, although it has been telling me on occasion for about a week now (which is when I got the virus, I’m sure) that my browser has plug-ins with low rep, do you want to remove? and I have followed the steps to remove every time but its still there. I cant terminate the processes, and I can’t find the nasty lil thing. Any help and suggestions?

Thanks, ill keep it in mind. But any help on how to remove this more immediate issue would be helpful.
Don’t keep it in mind, follow the instructions and attach the logs if you want help.
click the link in Eddys first post … and attach requested logs from the guide, then you will get help removing it
Ran the scan as suggested, found a bunch. followed the steps to quarantine, rebooted. after reboot, I ran the scan again, got 1 - same thing, quarantined; scan log included.
We also need the Farbar logs.
When I attempted to download the farbar recovery tool in your link, avast blocked the download for suspicious activity.
…seems to be gone now anyhow. Thanks guys
