if you buy licenses seperately (option 1) then you are paying more then when you buy suites that get equivalent ammount of licenses. That is the whole point of the suites
you can control machines with ADNM.
Honestly you should wait at least 1 more week before you buy anything…
there is a new version scheduled of the ADNM software which will have better support for the newest MS product (win7, server 2k8, exchange 2010 and such)
next week there is a special meeting for evangelists in prague where they hopefully announce the release date of that new version
it will take your numbers and give the price, but also suggests the suite if there is a better sollution with that
but like i suggested in my previous post, wait at least one more week before you decide/buy licenses for the 4.8 version
next week we hopefully get more information about the new version of ADNM which you want to use to deploy avast for businesses
Unfortunately, the new version of the ADNM (SBC as it will be called) won’t be released until AT LEAST April of '11 from what I’ve been told.
They have exchange support running and server 2008 as well, but the console itself is taking longer than usual.
If you need A/V now, go with the ADNM console, then upgrade to the SBC when it’s available (a full removal of ADNM and replacement with SBC will be required).
