Help Please Win32:Trojano-3372

Greetings: Avast found trojan - - Win32:Trojano-3372 (trj)
and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

Stats:
Win xp home 2002 sp2
amd proc 1.29 ghz, 1 g ram
Email - Mozilla thunderbird
Firewall - yes
Avast 4 home 0640-4
spybot
Windows Defender

Issue. Avast found trojan I get a message saying Avast4 archive not meant to handle such file… Then I get to “take action”
New box - Incoming email ?big5?q etc
Win Trojano 3372
Available actions - rename - delete- move to chest
I delete and I have done this over 32 times as of this moment and still rotating through dialog boxes…

Can’t find info re win 32 3372 on avast search so here I am… hoping for further instructions. I have read many of the forum posts but - - I haven’t found instructions on how to remove trojan from my computer.

If a virus is replicant (coming and coming again), you should:

  1. Disable System Restore on Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];310405
  2. Clean your temporary files.
  3. Schedule a boot time scanning with avast. Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning. Select for scanning archives. Boot.
  4. Use a-squared, ewido or Spyware Terminator (trojan removers).

  For "trojan(s)", best to use a program geared to 
  detecting and "quarantining" them, such as the FREE
  AVG Antispyware ( www.ewido.net/en ) and/or
 "SUPERantispyware" from www.superantispyware.com .
