HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

 After the first scan, I recieved a message informing that I had three problems: :o

I am hoping that by posting this message here, someone that is qualified to assist me in this area of expertise will be able to tell me what yo do about the three ugly things that were on my system after I installed the [shadow=red,left]Avast![/shadow] software today.

Can someone please tell me what I am supposed to do after viruses are found…
How do correct the files that are corrupted by these viruses?

  1. Win32:Trojan-gen {Other} NAME: FARMNEXT.EXE
    Originating file location: C:\Windows

  2. Win32:Trojano-213 [Trj] NAME: Key2.Txt
    Originating file location: C:\Windows

  3. Win32:Trojan-gen {Other} NAME: mm_reco.exe
    Originating file location: C:\Documents and Settings\Madison\Local Settings\Temp

And lastly… On a report from the scan, it listed 72 files that are unscanable and corrupt. The particular files are zip files… Can anyone help me to get these files scanned as well for they too may hold dangerour infectious things within…?

Thanks in advance for all your time, help, effort, consideration, and knowledge.
:D

Once the virus was detected, you have three options: Repair, Send to Virus Chest, and Delete.

Your first choice should be repairing the infected file, if you cannot repair it, then your second option is to send it to the virus chest so that you may investigate and prevent any more harm to your computer. Delete will always be your last resort cause you can’t really be sure that you won’t need the infected file again.

Also, if avast! cannot Scan a file, it is because: The file is password protected or damaged. Zip or compress files are safe from being infected by a virus or locking a virus within so that your computer will not be infected right alway.
