Help - Please

I recently upgraded from XP-Home to XP-Pro.
The installation was done as an upgrade not a new (clean) install.
Since the conversion, My removable USB drives aren’t assigned a drive letter
by default. I have to do it manually each time the USB Drive is inserted thru
Computer management.
How can I change this so that it again happens on the fly.
Hopefully the picture helps. It’s a real pain.

Maybe the TweakXP could do it. Just add the drivers to the autoplay list.

I wish it where that simple Tech. All my drives are checked.

Tech,
What version of TwekUI are you sing? Mine doesn’t look anything like yours ??? ???

2.10.0.0

But it was just a shot…
In fact, I have large HDD on USB and it always address it to the same drive letter.
Other possibility, is using TrueCrypt and mount the USB on a specific letter. You’ll receive security and privacy but you’ll have to ‘logon’ your USB drive each time you connect it to a computer that have TrueCrypt installed.

The download has the same version however, mine is totally different from yours:

I see… if I remember correctly, this one is from AutoPatcher…

Tech
Is the program itself available without having to download and install Autopatcher?

Can you check your comcast email?
I’ve sent it to it… but I’m not sure this is that Tweaker…

Thanks for the try. Unfortunately the problem is still there.
