i was searching some software n i happened to download a malicious code…avast detected n warned DAT some process in system32/driver s malicious …so i deleted it using unlocker coz normally it was getting deleted…
now what japans is…every tym i start my PC n login a warning comes saying dt in syst32/pchealth/errorrep/userdump/alg.exe20090201-075558-00.hdmp n anoder one in same location but file name alg.exe20090201-141149-00.hdmp is ifrme:inf infected…even if i del it once on next start same warning comes …moving it to chest is also of no help…
plz can ne1 tell wat shuld i do??is it a virus??shuld i format d pc…is der is neway to get rid of it without formattng??

Please download HijackThis from the link below. Do not download HJT to the desktop but instead download it into it’s own folder on the hard drive.
Run the program but do not make any fixes and then post the log results using the “copy & paste” method. It will probably take more than one post to be able to get the complete log posted.
OR, you can post it as an attachment to your post by clicking on “Additional Options…” below left of the posting box. Someone will review your log and then offer help.

m sory i formated d sys just d day after i posted it…coz i was seeng wierd thngs happening on my sys which were going beyond my control…for example i use bsnl broadband which needs username n pswd to connect…i connected it to d net…but after sum tym d net got disconnected(a usual prob vd bsnl)…but i was still able to use d net…d icon of broadband was nt der(in d task bar) …der was no readn of my ip addr n usage n all…n if i used to click on d broadband icon(on desktop) to connect ,it used to take d username n pswd(which shuld nt happend in d normal condn if m connected to d net) n d window used to disapper…
i tried boot scan quite a no of tyms…sys used to restrt but nt used to scan n even d windows nt used load properly n strt…no welcum screen…blank desktop …got fed up of all dis n i formatted it…
