Help Please

Avast Free Antivirus / Premium Security

I am using the home free version. I have received the new key and installed it but constantly I am told it is not upgraded. Please help me. What should I do or who should I contact? Thanks

Try removing avast through add and remove programs and run Avast uninstaller utility ASWCLEAR Reboot computer and re download the full version from the avast website (english) around 30mb size Not the small installer version! and after installation re insert your key! and copy and paste it in correctly as shown from your email notification from avast. But did you have any other antivirus on your computer before avast though?

You mean “updated”, rather than “upgraded?”
Is it an Avast warning (red box slides up from the lower right) or a Windows security warning (red shield in the system tray, and a balloon-tip warning.)?
Things to check:
-System time and date correct.
-Remnants of other security programs, even if (apparently) removed.
