[Help] Problem with Avast installer on Win7 64bit

Yesterday, I installed Avast on my Win7 Home Premium 64bit and it caused my system something like “crash”. Could anyone tell me how to install it correctly, please?
P/s: I chose mode “Express install”, was it wrong?

  • Which AV did you use before avast!..??

I installed Avast 7 Free, my OS is Window7 Home premium 64bit (I 've said this). Because this is my whole new PC so it doesn’t have any security software installed before. Tks for reading!

are you sure.... bc many new computers come with a preinstalled trail version from factory... a 60/90 day trail of Norton / McAfee / Tend Micro is often installed

if so it must be uninstalled…and then run a removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/

Which computer model did you get ??? Unless you specifically demanded that no AV be installed, you would have received a trial version which needs to be removed.
