HELP!! READY TO DELETE AVAST PRO FOR EVER

i HAD THE OLD 4.o version. license expired. so I decide lets go pro. after 2 un install. I get the icon on the task bar with an “x” it states
unsecured program has stop or is in a inconsistent state. as to hit Fix nothing happen I hit restart nothing happen. firewall is off I beleive no othe anty virus is on. follow the install dierction and license no luck. subcription sattus active

everything I click state avast engine not running?

Have you rebooted your system since installing the latest version ???
What other security programs are you running ???

I knew you would reply…He hasn’t replied yet…we will see if he genuinely wanted help or not…and i was just pulling his leg and make him reply soon

Have you rebooted since the install? If no please do so. If this doesnt work try a clean install using aswclear:
http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

1 - Download aswclear.exe on your desktop
2 - Start Windows in Safe Mode
3 - Open (execute) the uninstall utility
4 - If you installed avast! in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
5 - Click REMOVE
6 - Restart your computer
7 - Reinstall Avast and insert your license file
