I have the free version of avast. and I got a pop up from avast that told me that there was a suspicious file found it says using a heuristic method and that it may be a sign of malware infection and to submit it to the virus lab and it says file name C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\process.exe and Type: Rootkit:hidden process and in that pop up it says if I want to delete it or ignore it the only problem with deleting it is I don’t want to delete anything important the recommended action says I should ignore it now is this a false report or what do I do I’m worried please help and when I close that window that pops up another window pops up telling telling me that they found a virus in my operating memory it’s dangerous to be on the computer and I should restart my computer and let avast do it’s work in boot mode I said yes already and it scans the computer the only problem is when the scans over it doesn’t find anything so I don’t know what to do
