Sure I have attached the 2 messages it shows plus one of the virus vault just for good measure and something else I think, if I remember right, that the very first time that message shows it originated in a folder from the original user account, but I cant find it anymore as it has disappeared from the vault. But after that they come from those folder, but again I could be remembering wrong and that may not have happened at all.

It is almost 12:30am in the UK so essexboy is likely to be in bed now. He should be back on-line later today to continue.
OK lets clear that entire folder

Alright!!! We are making progress!!! After I did that the messages stopped, now I have one more question. When I opened chrome back up I noticed the menu button in the top right corner was orange. I clicked on it and it wanted me to enable something called Tube Karaoke. I knew it was bad news the minute I saw it so I looked it up and it appears to be malaware. I saw this program was installed on the original user and I thought I removed it in the control panel but it appears to be back so evidently not. So I ran a avast quick scan with anti-pup enabled and sure enough that’s the one threat it found. However I only ran the scan I did not let it move to vault, since I figured I would consult you first. I will attach a screen shot of what it found and let me know whats next. ![]()
That has been there a while as it did not show on the log as a new addition. Also delete from Chrome

Here you go, logs are attached!
How is chrome behaving now ?
Better! No warnings or anything however I ran a full scan this time in avast with ani-pup enabled and it says it found 1 file infected but its at 27% right now so I can’t see what it is.
Looks like you have been carrying those around for a while, and Avast is obviously getting better at finding them ![]()
Haha yeah they have probably been on here forever, its my brothers computer who I haven’t really run down the internet safety path with yet and I just got back into town so I am giving his computer a tune up but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. And yeah its ability to find them has impressed me I guess that proves it does something when it says definitions updated. But I’ll let you know what it finds when it finishes up!
OK I will be ready ![]()
We can use OTL to remove the folders cleanly
Hmmmm it seems as if its the exact same thing as last time. That tube karaoke thing, maybe because OTL was set to program files and not program Program Files (x86), but its just a hunch I probably have no idea what I’m talking about haha. But just let me know whats next and I’ll do it.
You are dead right I copied it wrong
