Help....Trojan infection

Hello need alot of help in trying to fix this problem…couple of days ago began having the browser redirect problem and have not been able to sove the problem through surfing the web and forums. I have ran TDSSkiller, spyhunter(although you have to buy for removal, I didn’t do that) avast, microsoft security scan, and some others that seem to help but problem keeps coming back. I have seen that this is a rootkit virus and almost impossilbe for laymen to get comouter back to normal. Should I just wipe the OS and get a clean version? What does this cause?

Running Windows 7, 64-bit browse using google & yahoo mostly. And have Avast as my primary protection but it didn’t seem to stop this at least the free version. Help what can i do please need my lap top for work, school, and just about everything.

Hi,

Visit the link here >> http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 and then follow the instructions for running OTL, aswMBR and Malwarebytes. When you get those complete, please attach the logs that are created.

Can you post the exe for download here(malwarebytes), I can not access the sites through work computer it blocks those sites.

Try it here: http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

Don’t worry about that for now…just go ahead and attach the logs for OTL and aswMBR.

In addition to the above I wanted to ask if the issue you are having is on a work/business computer?

Its on my personal lapt top just using the work computer to try and find solutions.

Ok I just wanted to verify. Were you able to get Malwarebytes downloaded via Asyn’s instructions?

No can’t get that to website either, I’m just going to log in with my lap top and try to download from there and do the steps from my infected PC

I will get you the .exe in a second. I am uploading it right now.

Were you able to get OTL and aswMBR downloaded?

Awesome yeah i downloaded them to a jump drive to bring over to the infected lap top…I have it here at work with me trying to solve this butt of a problem. Curious how do these trojans just exist I would think the browser providers would want to stop these sorts of trojans from infecting PC’s.

Ok…look over at my picture to the left and underneath that will be a globe. Click on the globe and that will take you to my page. I just downloaded the most recent copy of Malwarebytes there. Right-click and download MBAM-Setup. Once installed go ahead and run update and then a quick scan with that.

Be sure to run OTL and aswMBR and then attach the logs made by OTL, aswMBR and Malwarebytes.

HEy for some reason I cannot reply to this thread from my infected PC if I save the logs to a jump drive and bring them over to work computer will virus follow…I do not want that to happen…I have ran the mbam and have log running the OTL now

No you should be fine to do that.
