Help!Updated Avast program will not restart on commputer restart or mannually

Help Avast will not start after I updated to the newest version. i am running Windows 10 64 bit.

I see that Windows defender >:( has turned itself on, How can I change back to Avast?

1969???? Free/Paid of Avast!?When avast! started it automatically disabled WD.

Free Avast, i have been using it for years with no problems. Yes when i restarted windows It was turned on, i tried to turn Avast on and then went to the control panel to override and I can not the on button is greyed out.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Just a quick update. i updated another computer (windows 10 64 bit) and had the same issue when restarted but repaired it myself. this might be an issue that is common with other windows 10 computers.
