FIRST ISSUE:
The short-cut tiles on the tabs continually change to the Avast advertising partners.
Second Issue:
The Bookmark Sync has made a mess of my bookmarks! Every time I boot up one of my computers, the bookmarks are added to what has already been synced! I have 5, 6, or more of the same things. But I need sync to function because I must save business sites for my work files!
THIS issue is about to make me give up the Avast browser until it is fixed.
Third Issue:
The browser will freeze for one to two minutes on various websites. I cannot identify any common factor between the sites. This is not a memory issue. I am typically in the middle of work and have to immediately open Chrome to access the site and required information.
Forth Issue:
Please improve the translation function. It occasionally works with Spanish and popular European languages. However, most of those have “English” as available options anyway. There does not seem to be any success with Malaysian or Indonesian, and other South East Asian languages.

All of my desktop and laptop computers are HP. I am an Avast Premium and WINDOWS 365 subscriber. My internet connection is fiber optic line through Charter/Spectrum with speeds of 100+mbps.
With many browser there are some prominent preferred browser data collectors and data sellers.
For Brave browser on Windows we know that these are Amazon, Google, Salesforce, Linkedln, Reddit, Yahoo and Twitter.
How is this for Avast Secure Browser?

I would like to see a more selective History delete option.
Firefox allows deletion of old history by month, or all history older than six months. This slims down the history file, while preserving recent activity.
There is a website I keep visiting that will not show the background video on Avast Secure Browser but every other browser I used (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) works fine. Is there a setting or is this a bug? The site just shows up all black. It is https://www.powerjamproductions.com
I can confirm the problem and have reported it to Avast. Let’s see if that helps.

Very happy to provide feedback on the browser. I really want a better browser that Chrome but I’m finding that Avast loses the ability to connect to any site on wake from sleep (Mac OS Big Sur) so I have to force quit it several times a day. Is there any way to provide feedback to you on this issue? Also upgrading to a newer version of Avast leads to all saved passwords disappearing - not a great outcome when I’ve saved tens of passwords.
I would like there to be a security window to block you from accindentally clicking some links to shady websites, for example recently there’s been links hidden in some YouTube comments.
Would be good if there would be some confirmation asking if one really wants to open up that link so to say.
Currently, Avast will certainly let you know if the link you click leads you into danger. It will block your access to dangerous or infected sites. It’s very hard to miss one of these warnings.
Turn off the ‘are you happy with us’ pop up. It appears whenever I move to a new page, reload the page, even change tabs. It’s fucking annoying and I want it to stop harassing me. This is why I used this in the first place. FIX THIS BULLSHIT >:( >:( >:(
