My old computer died and i have a new one with windows ultimate vista on it. I have downloaded the home addition from a web
sight that says for window vista user downloads. However when my computer starts up i get a message saying i have updated my computer and avast wont work on it. I keep seeing where avast is suppost to be able to work with vista am i missing something. Thanks Graneet

avast works on Vista for sure…
Did you install and receive any error message?

I downloaded from two different places once was the main sight of Avast english home version. Second place was from a znet i think for avast from windows vista neither of them work i keep getting the same message on both when my computer comes on. Says i have upgraded my computer and this version of Avast wont work to uninstall or reinstall. Now when i click on the icon it will start scanning my computer but it wont come on to protect my computer while on line like it did for my xp.
