Hello
I have a pop up that comes up dans tells me that the VSP BASE upgrade failled and when i do it manually as asked it starts and stops and tells me that it is already upgrade…but after a while the pop up comes back !!
But in the Resumé part i have this
VPS BASE 120706-0 …it is in red and tell me to upgrade
Pror vers 7.0.1456
Can anyone Help me ?
PS: I have already uninstall teh programme and tried to download the VPS manually but nothing works

Try a repair of avast:
XP - Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and select Repair, click next and follow.
Vista, win7 - Control Panel, Programs & Features, uninstall a program, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Uninstall/Change and select Repair, click next and follow.
You may need to reboot after the repair.
This has in the past resolved this out of sync issue between reported and actual VPS version.

I did what you said and when i said yes to reboot the PC i got an error message …here is the screen …it’s in French if you don’t undersand i can try to translate

More so for me as I can’t translate the error message ;D
But it looks like a memory address can’t be read error, if it is working correctly now I wouldn’t chase a first error message, only if it were to be a regular occurrence would I personally investigate further.
