Help with an item found by a boot time scan

Hello All,

I ran a boot time scan this evening, and received notification that c:\user\appdata\roaming\move networks\uninstall.exe is infected with win32:malware-gen. The last changed date is 11/9/2009, yet the antivirus did not flag it till tonight. Couple of questions about it.

What is this program?
Based on where it was found, can this be a false positive?
Are their any futher actions that should be taken other than moving it to the virus chest?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

just move the file to the chestdo not delete.

Now after the boot time scan…

open up the avast user interface by clicking the orange ball in the tray.

Now got to the maintainence tab,go to virus chest…right click on the file and click on report as false positive fill in the short form…and then the file will be reported as Fp during the next update…in few days u may rescan the file in the chest and if it is legit it will be shown as no virus…

upload the file here:
