Hi. I have a huge problem with my Avast. I had 4.8 and downloaded 5.0 using my phone so to update my Avast only to realise,after installin, that the 5.0 is in chinese. Now I want to change it to english, but have no idea how(especially since I cant read chinese). Now I’ve seen on the Avast FAQ that I should simply go to Control Panel>Program and Features>select change on Avast entry and in the installation screen select the desired language. Now problem is wen I select change, no language selections are shown. Infact nothin happens for a while then the Cancel button changes to Finish. Is there a way to download the English language module and install it manually?(I cant download the program again as I do not have enough MB’s on my phones account. Please help. Thanx!
So much for that. Oh well…mayb its time I changed to a different antivirus.
avast is in 30 languages, from English to Chinese… Seems that you downloaded the wrong version, only that…

No, if you have the program already installed, you can only add the language module you want in program settings - Language page.
As Igor said you can install additional languages from within your existing avast installation, see image.
