Help with DVDs in XP

Dear Forum,

I would like to play three movies on my Window$ XP SP3 laptop which I bought on DVD which have different zones.

Could somebody please advise how to bypass the stupid zone protection thing on Windows XP?

I understand you can only change it a few times before it is set.

There is audio/video playback software out there that doesn’t do region checks (I believe media player classic HC and VLC are two programs that do this)
