There is not only the rootkit, also the conduit malware and the person is using a very unsecure browser.
Hi,
Let’s first get rid of that rootkit.
Download TDSSKiller and save it to your desktop
Execute TDSSKiller.exe by doubleclicking on it.
Confirm “End user Licence Agreement” and “KSN Statement” dialog box by clicking on Accept button.
[*] Press Start Scan
[*] If Suspicious object is detected, the default action will be Skip, click on Continue.
[*] If Malicious objects are found, select Cure.
Once complete, a log will be produced at the root drive which is typically C:\ ,for example, C:\TDSSKiller.<version_date_time>log.txt
Please post the contents of that log in your next reply.
hi,

PC seems clean now, do you still experience any problem?
the vaio care app kept on popping up so i tried to disable it in task scheduler. but it was persistent. so i uninstalled it. then after the restart, the blue screen appeared. then i rebooted it once, but blue screen still. then i turned it off and took out the battery. then i turned it on just now…and it’s okay and i’m using it.
should i be worried? there were blue screen episodes, after all…
:-\
Monitor the situation and let me know do you still have some problems?
