Help with Removing JS:Redirector-BWW [Adw] on Mac!

Hi all

For the past few weeks, every now and then, Avast informs me that it’s blocked an infection called ‘JS:Redirector-BWW [Adw]’. I’ve been really struggling to find any help with this. Has anyone found a solution to this or would anyone be able to help? I’m using a Macbook Pro with OS X Yosemite 10.10.4

The URL begins with: http://media.fastclick.net/w/pop.cgi…
and the Process is always the same: /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/com.apple.WebKit.Networking.xpc/Contents/MacOS/com.apple.WebKit.Networking

Looks like some adware possibly is on your system, and Avast is seeing the redirection from the adware but not the actual adware.

Try scanning with Malwarebytes for Mac and see if it can find the adware infection
