I have a problem here.
Whenever I try to activate some of the shields nothing happens.
I tried reinstalling Avast with no luck.
I don’t know what to do ???

Nope.
In fact, I don’t how this problem started.
I turned on my PC today and then there I saw the problem in Avast.
Try a repair first. Proceed as though you are uninstalling Avast! normally, but choose the “repair” option when it appears.
