I would like some infomation on the trojen win32:sdbot-965, My brothers computer got infected with it and it would be usfull if you would be able to give infomation about it thankyou and if you need more infomation please ask.
The quickest way to gain information on win32:sdbot is a google.com search. But it would appear that your brothers Operating System is not up to date as this vulnerability has been patched by MS.
- What OS are you using? is it up to date?
- avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
- Virus info, what was the filename infected, where was it found example (C:\windows\system32\infected-filename.xxx)?
- What actions have you taken to try and resolve the problem?
